Smile, Gwyneth! Puffy-faced Paltrow accepts her star on the Walk of Fame

By Daily Mail Reporter

There's something about Gwyneth: Paltrow looked markedly different as she accepted her Hollywood walk of fame star Monday in Los Angeles

Obviously she wanted to look her best for such a momentous event.

But Gwyneth Paltrow may have taken things a little bit too far as she proudly accepted her Hollywood Walk of Fame star Monday in Los Angeles.

The blonde actress grinned broadly as she knelt for her photo call, dressed in a cute white Monique L'hullier dress and peach Pierre Hardy sandals, with her long blonde hair secured to the left with a pin.

But there was something that was slightly off about the 38-year-old's face and her features appeared markedly different in some way.

Smile: Gwyneth's face seemed markedly frozen and there were no lines or wrinkles around her eyes as she smiled

Paltrow's forehead and eyebrows seemed totally frozen and even though she was smiling widely there were no lines or wrinkles around her eyes.

Gwyneth's star is the 2,427th awarded on the famed stretch of sidewalk and is positioned in front of Madame Tussaud's wax museum on Hollywood Boulevard.

She was joined at the ceremony by her Country Strong co-stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, who made a speech praising Paltrow and her considerable talents.

Also there to add support was Gwyneth's Glee co-star Matthew Morrison.

After her much talked about appearance on the hit TV musical last month, it's been announced that she will reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday, which she said has given her a new, younger group of fans.

'It was great fun,' Paltrow told Reuters of doing the show the first time around.

'The other day I was in Chicago doing this movie Contagion, I was in my trailer, which was in a parking lot by a school, and there were these young girls who were like, "Oh my God, you were on Glee!"'

Paltrow said the girls were 'literally on the floor' making bowing motions with their hands towards the actress.

'I was like, this is hilarious!' she said.

On the November 16 episode of the show, Paltrow sang a cover version of rapper Cee Lo's Forget You, a mash-up of the classic Singin' in the Rain and Rihanna's Umbrella with Matthew Morrison.

After the show aired, Cee Lo publicly praised Paltrow for her version of his song. The two have never met, but the actress said she has 'always wanted to meet him.

'I love his music, and I'm such a fan,' she said.

Paltrow also wants to ask the rapper a specific question dealing with her dad, Bruce Paltrow, a director and producer who died in 2002 of complications from cancer and pneumonia.

'Cee Lo's [first] record with Gnarls Barkley was called St. Elsewhere, which was the name of my dad's show,' said Paltrow.

'I've always wondered -- you know, you kind of grasp at any connection to your deceased parent that you love. So, I wonder if there's any connection there, or if he just liked the name.'

And after making her career in movies, going back to TV with Glee proved to be a joy.

'I adored it,' she said.
